Why Run the Ogden Marathon?

Ogden Marathon Breathtaking Views
This beautiful course starts at an elevation of 5,400 ft. You will enjoy open roads, green fields, and a gushing river throughout the first half of the marathon. Then, the course winds around the Pineview Reservoir near the start of the half marathon and drops into Ogden Canyon where you get to run along the roaring Ogden River.
As you exit the canyon, you will run approximately 2 miles on the Ogden River Parkway through the Dinosaur Park and Utah State University Botanical Gardens. Finally, you will finish on Historic 25th street downtown at an elevation of 4,309 ft.
The breathtaking views alone are alone are motivation to run this marathon!
My Ogden Marathon Experience
I ran the Ogden Half Marathon for the first time in 2019, and I’m planning to run the full marathon in 2020, along with volunteering on the Ogden Marathon Ambassador team!
